Gaia Aroomas Patchouli And Rose Handmade Soap Review

Hi everyone.. I am handmade soap lover and I always look around for natural handmade soaps. Recently I was contacted by Gaia Aroomas  and they asked me to try their soaps.. The person behind the Brand is Mr. Yogesh Mishra.

In a telephonic conversation, he explained me about the harmful effects of commercial beauty soaps and since then I haven’t used the commercial beauty soaps.

About the brand : Gaia is Greek word and She is a primal mother goddess, complete in herself. In modern times, some earth scientists use the term “Gaia” to mean the complete living planet itself, as a complex organism. As the name suggest itself our products are natural, holy and close to nature. Each bar of soap – made, cut and trimmed by hand – is unique.

Studies have shown that the chemicals we use on our skin enters our bloodstream within minutes. When we hop into that nice warm bath or shower, the heat opens up our pores and allows any products we are using to enter the bloodstream even faster. If those products contain chemicals, we are risking not only skin irritations such as dry itchy skin, eczema or dermatitis, but much more serious health problems.

My personal experience :

I always get attracted towards floral and earthy fragrances and when I was being contacted by Gaia Aroomas to try their new launch I couldn’t resist myself and placed my order.

When I received the soaps I opened the packaging cover with lots of care because i found the soap soft & delicate and if opened with pressure can damage the sides of soap and I hate damaging my brand new products.

As I opened the packaging, I found a cream coloured 100 grams soap bar that was smelling like a garden full of roses with wet sand where rain has just arrived and I remember I was continuously smelling it for 5 minutes.

I generally cut down soap bars in 2-4 equal pieces to prevent loosing its texture & smell so that every week I can have fresh piece of my favourite soap.

If I talk about the soap how it worked on my skin then there is one word for this soap –

This soap when mixed with water forms a mild milky foam with few soapy bubbles that can be detected while applying it on the body and if I talk about performance it cleans the skin deeply and washes away all the dirt and sweat & leaves Rose Patchouli fragrance on skin that is so soothing and refreshing for the floral fragrance lovers.

After taking bath, the fragrance of the Rose and patchouli can be easily smelled for 2-2.5 hours after that the fragrance decreases and vanishes in hot summery days after 4 hours. Best part about these soaps is that they keep my skin feel fresh for 6-7 hours and I never faced any bad odour issues even after 10-11 hours.

The main issue with my skin is dryness even in summers I need to apply after bath oil/ body lotions. Even it is handmade soap but still I was on doubt whether I’ll need to moisturize my body or not. and surprisingly I didn’t feel the need to moisturize my skin even after 10-11 hours.

Why to have this :

  • Natural Handmade soap.
  • Its fragrance is to die for.. Rose Patchouli combination is so soothing.
  • Its for Rose Addicts.
  • Cleans the skin deeply and keeps fresh for long hours.
  • Doesn’t dry out the skin.
  • No need to apply any other fragrance.

Product Rating : 5/5 ..  Highly Recommended..

  1. Rose and Patchouli !! Hmm.. I guess I need both of them. It is great to discover lesser known brand which turns out to be awesome. Thanks for sharing it with us.
